After our farewell to the famous Autogrill of the ‘60s, we’re opening the first of two new service areas.
As announced last October on completion of the shutdown of the Montepulciano Autogrill, a bit of history from the economic boom years, we’ve made huge efforts for Valdichiana.
On 22 April 2022, in fact, we opened a new Montepulciano Est service area, the first of the two new Autogrills on either side of the motorway, super-modern and efficient also in terms of energy efficiency, to replace the famous bridge-type structure.

This is Autogrill’s Bar & Bakery. Come in and feel welcomed by the aroma of coffee, the fragrance of oven-fresh croissants, cakes and sandwiches from the Bakery and of pizzas and focaccias from the Focacceria, made to recipes by pizza-researcher Renato Bosco, global ambassador of Italian cuisine.
