Golden Wedding Anniversary at Autogrill Teano Est

The story of Armando and Caterina

This is the story of 50 years of love, that of Armando and Caterina Di Girolamo, who live at Calvi Risorta, in the province of Caserta. He’s 82 and she’s 79 and they got married on 18 September 1971 in the Teano Est Autogrill, which was called Motta at the time. Exactly 50 years later, on 18 September 2021, they came back to us to celebrate their golden wedding anniversary with all the family they’ve created.

This shows how Autogrill has always accompanied not only Italian on the move but also the evolution of their habits and lifestyles: in the ‘60s and ‘70s in fact, lots of weddings took place in Autogrills throughout Italy because of the quality of their service and products.

For this special occasion, Autogrill has offered a lunch with a cake created by master pastry chef Sal De Riso.
