The new Autogrill sandwich in support of PizzAut
Milan, 31 July 2024 – Autogrill and PizzAut announce the launch of GourmAut, the sandwich that supports inclusion. From 30 July till the end of October, all Autogrill points of sale in the country will be offering the GourmAut, a sandwich designed not only to delight the palate but also to support PizzAut. Part of the proceeds from these sales will go to the association in fact, to help fund its various activities and projects fostering the inclusion of autistic people in the workplace and society in general.
Autogrill’s commitment
“We have always felt strongly about the values of inclusion and integration, in line with “Journey Sustainably On”, Avolta’s sustainability roadmap,” said Massimiliano Santoro, CEO Italy F&B, Avolta. “We are working to create an inclusive organization and corporate culture. This is why we invest in projects that effectively favour employment of the more fragile, offering equal opportunities and recognizing the value of differences. The key point for us is putting people front and centre.”
A special sandwich
GourmAut is not only a sandwich, it’s a symbol of sharing and inclusion. Its round shape, which can be cut into four portions, makes it ideal for enjoying in company, thus representing the value of inclusion. And the raw materials – Prosciutto Praga (ham), courgettes, Robiola di Bufala (cheese) and dried tomatoes – were selected to offer an exciting and genuine taste experience.
A growing collaboration
To support the launch of the GourmAut, a communication campaign was self-produced in collaboration with some of PizzAut’s young talents. Bea, a young illustrator with a passion for cartoons, produced the drawings for the promotional material and the project presentation video, in which the speaker was Edoardo, who has been on secondment at Autogrill since April.
Support inclusion with GourmAut, the sandwich that’s good for the palate and the heart.
