The sweeter side of the Amalfi coast
Collaboration between Autogrill and Sal De Riso is based on the values we share: on the one hand insistence on excellence and on the other the capacity to embrace new trends without forgetting about the taste of tradition.
So Motta Milano 1928 hosts the first Sal De Riso patisserie in Milan in its Mercato del Duomo.
Sal De Riso cakes and pastries are synonymous with quality, a perfect marriage of tradition and innovation: from lemon delight to ricotta, pear and chocolate tart and the unmistakeable rum baba.
Other than at Mercato del Duomo in Milan, they are also available:
- in select motorway restaurants, in single portions and take-away versions;
- in Ciao and La Fucina restaurants;
- home delivered by Glovo, Deliveroo and Just Eat.
The pastry chef
This award-winning pastry chef comes from a family that’s been making ice cream and granita on the Amalfi coast for over half a century. His bar-pastry shop on the seafront at Minori is the only one of its kind in Campania to have won the Gambero Rosso “Tre Chicchi” and “Tre Tazzine” (Guida Bar d’Italia 2020). And thanks in part to his appearances on Antonella Clerici’s “La Prova del Cuoco”, he’s one of the most famous and highly rated pastry chefs in Italy.
